FEAST Martock Stop!
Billabong’s 2012 FEAST girls freestyle snowboard clinic and contest stopped off at Martock, Nova Scotia on Saturday, Jan 21. Olympian Sarah Conrad, Jeremy Page and Billabong rider Alex Duckworth were all on site to judge the event.
The Feast tour is continuing to make it’s way across the Maritimes this winter. Each stop features a free snowboard clinic in the morning, followed by a contest in the afternoon.

FEAST at MARTOCK this Saturday!
Don’t miss out on FEAST Jan 21 at Martock! FEAST Clinics are all girl freestyle clinics that take place in the terrain park. They are designed for the first time park rider, up to the intermediate park rider. There will be an optional contest to follow from 1pm to 3pm. The Clinic is free, but you must get a Canada Snowboard General Membership. There are loads of prizes and a free barbeque lunch! Boom Boom Chick
The recent Travel Well video, featuring Chad Tim Tim, was set to a soundtrack by the band BOOM CHICK. Now, the band is preparing to release their new single “Shake Can Well” and the first 100 pre-orders will receive it on clear purple vinyl! We’ve already got our order in, and are checking the mail every day. You can listen to the new music on their Bandcamp page, and pre-order the album there too. Do you know the fashion blog Oracle Fox? If you don’t, you should! The Australian creator, Mandy Shadforth is a talented fashion stylist, fine artist and a terrific blogger. She posts often, and covers a range wide of topics including her favorite outfits, travel, and editorial.
Mandy’s roots come from Australia’s surf scene, with her passion for the outdoors and fashion, it made sense for her to do a collaboration with Billabong. The Billabong design team and Oracle Fox have done a collection inspired by her bohemian, organic surfer girl side. The collection is getting rave reviews world wide and you can find pieces in your local stores!
