fourcorners: I couldn’t understand what was happening. Shutters kept clicking mid trick and video cameras all set to record Nyjah’s next rail trick but they seemed to be doing it wrong. I nudged the guy next to me and said to him “What are you filming dude? You’re missing everything!” He looked back at me perplexed. “Uhh.. what the hell are you talking about?” He said. I looked away from him for a second to see Nyjah fall trying bs 270 noseblunt and quickly run up the stairs again. I looked back at the guy filming and said “You know he can do every trick but did you know he falls too? Amazing.” The only photo I shot at the Element demo was of Nyjah falling and yelling “fuck”, only to get up and do a bs 270 noseblunt on the 8 stair rail flawlessly next try. How about that?

Donny Barley - Welcome Back

Element officially welcomed Donny Barley back to the family today. Donny will work for Element Marketing as East Coast Retail Relations.  You may see a “icon” board for Donny in the future but for now he will be focusing on his new position.

Eden Advocate Juliana Neufeld

Eden Advocate Juliana Neufeld showcased her work in Toronto’s 52 McCaul gallery earlier this May at the ANOTHER DISPOSABLE ART SHOW.  The show benefited Freeskates, a grassroots community organization focused on creating positive change in at risk youth and developing socioeconomic climates throughout Canada.  Similar to the family at Element, they provide skateboards to kids who can’t afford them, encouraging an active and motivated lifestyle.
